The Bourbon rises again
Kings Cross’ iconic venue, The Bourbon, has reinvented itself with Paul Kelly Design.
One of the most popular areas of the redesign is the outdoor dining area, The Terrace. Paul Kelly redesigned The Terrace, so that patrons could dine all year round while taking in the eclectic sights of Kings Cross including the iconic El Alamein Fountain.
To achieve this Bromic’s Platinum Gas range was chosen according to the Bourbon’s General Manager, Louise Tamayo;
“The Platinum Smart-Heat™ Gas Heaters were installed as they are aesthetically pleasing, elegantly designed, fit in very well with the interior and (customers) love the look of them.”
The Platinum Gas Heaters come equipped with world-first features. Its high wind resistance ensures that heat is provided even in winds of up-to 18km/h. Its automatic re-ignition and remote electronic ignition system makes it easy for staff to operate under busy restaurant conditions.
The heaters have reduced energy consumption, saved on running costs for The Bourbon and year round patronage of the outdoor areas increases overall revenue.
The Platinum’s state-of-the-art technology provides greater heat dispersion over a large area. Compared to other heaters, they generate higher heat output, wider heat spread and their pivot arm bracket feature allows for adjustable heat direction.
These technologically advanced Platinum Gas heaters are a part of Bromic Heating’s unparalleled product range that includes various fixed-mounted gas and electric heaters and award-winning portable options.
Bromic’s Platinum Gas Heaters truly satisfy the Bourbon’s outdoor heating needs. This has made the Terrace “one of the most popular areas of the Bourbon where people sit. It is always the first place to fill up, the last place to empty out,” says Louise Tamayo, Bourbon General Manger.
