A Customized Heating Solution for Customs House!
Customs House is an iconic award wining Brisbane location renowned for its Story Bridge views and alfresco dining. With its waterside location, heating the outdoor area was critical for patrons comfort and for year round dining.
‘Other brands we had used before didn’t work too well, so we searched online and spoke to a number of other venues who all recommended Bromic heaters’ commented Peter Johanson – Operations Manager for Customs House.
Customs House took advantage of Bromic’s complimentary design service. The site had no access to gas and had a extremely high roof structure. The Tungsten Electric 4000w unit was chosen as;
– It provided enough heat from its elevated mounting height
– Provided a soft glow that did not detract from the ambience of the space
– Ability to control heat output of the heater to have either 2000 watts or 4000 watts of heat
– The heater’s design allowed them to blend with the design of the roofing structure.
The heaters and the design are working as Peter Johanson stated;
‘The high ceilings/awning do not pose a problem for the Tungsten range. Patrons always comment that the heaters work well and they feel the heat straight away.’
He believes that the heaters have ‘enhanced the customers dining experience’ and helps them to utilize their outdoor areas throughout the year.
Available in four sizes, the Tungsten Smart-Heat Electric can be either wall, ceiling or recessed mounted. The team at Custom’s House couldn’t be happier with their heating solution provide by Bromic.
‘The heaters are excellent. They are stylish, effective and extremely efficient’.
